ANNA FLEWELLING – ATTORNEY
Attorney Anna Flewelling is a 2013 cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and is admitted to practice in Virginia and Massachusetts. Her unconventional path to becoming an attorney included earning a Master of Divinity from Harvard. During law school, Anna was an editor of the Journal of Land and Development, a judicial intern for Judge Alexander Wright on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, a law clerk for the Maryland Department of Planning, and a student attorney for the University of Baltimore Community Development Clinic. Her achievements demonstrate her tenacity and resourcefulness, traits that she brings to her work.
Anna knows what it means to build from the ground up, and she enjoys working with clients who are doing the same, approaching each client relationship with wisdom and empathy that only comes from a breadth of life experiences. She loves helping small businesses and non-profit organizations become economic engines in their communities and focuses her practice on helping business owners with employment and labor law issues. Anna doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty for clients and meeting them where they are, whether it be in the cow pasture or in the board room.
She has lived in three countries and six states but currently resides in the Shenandoah Valley and will be serving clients in Charlottesville, the Valley, and across Virginia. When she isn’t working, you’ll find Anna enjoying country music, reading romance novels, and attending local farmers markets.
